This page contains more of my quilts. Many of these quilts show a larger image or detail if you click on the image. Some of these quilts were shown as part of my Senior Exhibition, an art show prior to graduation from college. As well as pictures of my 2001 Hoffman Challenge Entry.
This quilt was done using the Hoffman Challenge fabric (butterflies on black background), a few other Hoffman Batiks, and many of my own Hand dyed fabrics. The flower was done with machine applique, while the butterlies themselves were done with a combination of reverse applique and needle turn applique. The beading that creates the stamin in the center of the flower is done with garnet beads, my birthstone. Size is 32x32"
This quilt is currently part of my private collection.
